Pale Skin: An Adaptation?

Pale-skin is no more adapted to cold, dark climates than it is to anywhere else.

Contrary to popular claims, pale skin is not an adaptation to lack of sunlight.  If that were so, then the darkest places in West Asia (“Europe”), which have the world’s palest people, wouldn’t have the highest rates of skin cancer.  If pale skin “evolved” because people needed to absorb more sunlight rather than be protected from it, then the sparse sunlight of northwest Asia (northern “Europe”) would not harm the pale people there.  But this is not so.  In fact, that is the place of the highest rates of skin cancer:

melanoma europe

It should be noted that, this is an EU map, and Norway is not part of the EU.  If it were, it would likely be amongst the other northern countries (Sweden,Denmark & Finland) with the highest skin cancer rates.

Now the following maps does not list country names, but if you have some knowledge of where the previous chart’s leading countries for skin cancer are, you will see that they coincide with paler skin (1st map below) and paler eyes & hair (2nd map below).

So if pale skin were an adaptation to sparse sunlight, then why are pale-skinned people so ill-adapted?

And if you don’t need skin color to be protected from the sun in dark, cold, snowy climates, then how do you explain snowburn?

You’ve heard this “theory” many times, but it’s simply not true.  If it were so, Far West Asian (Western “European”) explorers would not have needed winter clothes in South America while brown-skinned natives went naked:

Despite the extremely cold climate in which they lived, early Yahgan wore little to no clothing until after their extended contact with Europeans.[5] They were able to survive the harsh climate because:

  1. They kept warm by huddling around small fires when they could, including in their boats to stay warm. The name of “Tierra del Fuego” (land of fire) was based on the many fires seen by passing European explorers.

  2. They made use of rock formations to shelter from the elements.

  3. They covered themselves in animal grease.[6]

  4. Over time, they had evolved significantly higher metabolisms than average humans, allowing them to generate more internal body heat.[7]

  5. Their natural resting position was a deep squatting position, which reduced their surface area and helped to conserve heat.” (wikipedia)

This is what cold-adapted humans look like:

And if paleness were an adaptation to cold and lack of sunlight, then why aren’t native Siberians and Alaskans pale?

White Skin for a Black Sun?

black sun

Pale-skinned people need as much- or more- protection from the cold than everyone else.  And even in the darkest of places, their skin is still not protected from the sun.  So neither the pale skin, nor the relatively narrower facial features, nor any musculo-skeletal or cranial features of the “white” “race” are an adaptation to cold.

Pale skin is not suited to sunlight, at least not the light of this sun.  So why do people keep claiming that it is?  Perhaps the reference is not to this sun, but the Black Sun of Theosophy & Esoteric ‘Nazism’/Esoteric Hitlerism, popularized in the Soundgarden hit “Black Hole Sun”?

Could the source of energy and life on earth have once been another sun, to which pale skin was suited?   Could the earth have later broken away somehow until being captured by the gravity of our current star?  That would certainly make sense out legends of floods and underground civilizations, and the documented Ice Age and need of West Asians (“Europeans”) to live in caves.  Here’s an interesting video about life on earth between suns:

Muslim Women’s Dress: A Tool of Black Liberation

Pervasive stereotypes of black women have worked to deny them dignity and rights. The “jezebel” image, stereotyping black women as sexually loose, has its roots in slavery to justify the systematic raping of enslaved women. It is in fighting this image that I see long dresses, or the hijab, as tools of liberation.

BlogTalk Radio: The Effect of Mass Incarceration: Rise of the Black SuperWoman

Between the ages of 20 and 29, one black man in nine is behind bars. For black women of the same age, the figure is about one in 150. For obvious reasons, convicts are excluded from the dating pool.
Looking only at the non-incarcerated population, black women are 40% more likely to go to college. They are also more likely than white women to seek work. One reason why so many black women strive so hard is because they do not expect to split the household bills with a male provider. And the educational disparity creates its own tensions. If you are a college-educated black woman with a good job and you wish to marry a black man who is your socioeconomic equal, the odds are not good.” – The Economist

Yes. Economists agree that in the Black community, the Black woman is the “man”. The Rise of the Black superwoman is now a reality. Why isn’t the community embracing this change and using it to their advantage? Is the male ego that sensitive? Are we really aware of the effect mass incarceration has ( and will continue to have) in our communities?

The Top Ten Myths About Black America

The next time someone passes around one of these tired myths, if you can resist smacking them in the mouth, pass on some real data to them, or at least encourage them to do some research themselves before passing lies as truth.

1 There are more Black men in prison than in college.

  • As late as 2004, the US Census reported that there were 864,000 Black men in college.
  • Out of the 40 million-plus African Americans that the 2008 Census found, less than one million are in jail or prison.

2 Black people, particularly Black men, are lazy.

  • According to the US Census Bureau, 68.1% of all Black men and 62.3% of Black women over the age of 16 are in the civilian labor force.
  • Of the 40 million-plus Blacks in this nation, only 8.1 million have incomes below the poverty line.

3  Black people abuse the Welfare system and are swelling it beyond capacity.

  • The actual number of Black families on Welfare has been decreasing since the early 1970’s.
  • Benefit programs for predominantly White farmers and big businesses far outweigh the Welfare program. Who is abusing welfare?

4. Most Black men are married to White women.

  • According to the most recent Census statistics, more than 90% of all Black men who are married are married to Black women.

5. Affirmative Action unfairly provides opportunities for Black America.

  • Affirmative Action is inappropriately used to define Black preferential treatment and “quotas” but it was actually designed to benefit a number of groups who have been discriminated against, creating parity in the workplace.
  • Since the 1970’s, Affirmative Action has benefited White women more than any other group.

6. Poor Blacks would be better off if they stopped using drugs and took better care of their communities.  And, Blacks need to stop pushing drugs to their own people.

  • According to a study by the Sentencing Project, the number of Blacks in prison for drug-related crimes fell by 21.6 % from 1999 to 2005, while the number of Whites in prison for drug-related crimes increased by 42 % during the same time period.

7 Blacks suffer from Black on Black crime.

  • Many crimes, including murder, rape and robbery, are crimes of location, not color. According to the Bureau of Justice Statistics, 85% of African Americans report another Black person as the perpetrator of the crime and 80% of White murders were committed by other Whites.
  • However, when race does play a role in crime, the victims of violent crimes are more likely to be Black, while the perpetrators, are more likely to be White.

Blacks commit more crimes than Whites.

  • According to “The Real War on Crime,” a report by the National Criminal Justice Commission, African-American arrest rates for drugs during the height of the ‘drug war’ in 1989 were five times higher than arrest rates for Whites even though Whites and African-Americans were using drugs at the same rate.
  • According to the Federal Judicial Center, the average sentences for African Americans for weapons and drug charges have been 49% longer than for Whites who had been convicted of the same crimes.

9 Women outnumbering men in college is a Black phenomenon.

  • According to the US Department of Education, male undergraduates account for 44 percent of student population, while female undergraduates account for 56 percent.  This is not race specific.

10 Integration and Assimilation were positive developments for African-Americans.

  • False. Black America had great success before integration. In fact, by 1900, the number of African-American businesses nationally, totaled 40,000, including the Greenfield Bus Body Company, which manufactured automobiles, and a hotel in New York City valued at $75,000. By 1908, we had 55 privately owned banks. By 1912, there were two millionaires, Madam C.J. Walker (hair care) and R. R. Church (real estate).
  • By 1923, Tulsa, Oklahoma was home to The Black Wall Street, an African American community of 11,000.  Which featured nine hotels, nineteen restaurants and thirty-one grocery stores and meat markets, ten medical doctors, six lawyers, and five real estate and loan insurance agencies, complete with five private planes.

The Other Victim: White Women during Slavery

American slavery was an insidious economic institution devised to benefit a minority of white Christian men, predicated on systemically preventing others access or the ability to establish alliances. Society has discussed how slavery successfully branded Blacks as inferior and sub-human, yet have we ever fully faced the brain washing, torture and rape terrorism practices slavery inflicted on Black and White women?

A white woman’s rage: privileged with no position, positioned with no power, powerful with no promise of independence, fidelity or safety. The white woman could not properly direct her rage at her husband, she could not rail against white male supremacy. She too was in hell and Black enslaved women where the only ones in the chambers bellow her. So she sent her rage down and with her hot hate burned what was left of the bitches. And the black women scorched beyond human recognition were left in pieces scattered and buried somewhere beneath hell. The concept of hell, like slavery, was designed to control and terrorize for eternity.
